Application and Admission
I. Requirements for application
Foreigners who are non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, in good health condition, of good virtue, and willing to abide by the laws of the Chinese Government and the regulations of CUMTB respecting Chinese culture and customs and meeting the requirements below, can apply directly to the international students office.
Undergraduates
1. International students’ Application Form for CUMTB
2. Certificate of senior high school and transcript together with copies
3. Certificate of HSK-4, transcript, and copies
4. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport (the page with photograph)
5. A recommendation letter from an associated professor in a related field
6. Attend the interview
Master’s Degree and Ph.D. Students
1. International students’ Application Form for CUMTB
2. Applicant’s highest academic diploma or certificate of university education, transcript, and copies.
3. Certificate of HSK-5, transcript, and copies
4. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport (the page with photograph)
5. Recommendation letters from two associated professors in a related field
6. Attend the interview
Chinese Language Training Students and Visiting Students
1. International students’ Application Form for CUMTB
2. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport (the page with photograph).
Students under the age of 18 are asked to provide the following materials:
a. Entrustment statement from the parents
b. Notarized guarantee statement of the guardian
c. A copy of the valid identity card of the guardian
II. Requirements for Admission
Applicants are required to hold:
·University Admission Notice
·The original copy of the "Visa Application Form for Study in China"(JW202)
·Health examination certificate (including lung X-rays, blood test, EKG)
·Passport
·Visa
·8 passport photos
·Temporary Accommodation Registration
Go to CUMTB for registration formalities during the registration period that is specified in the Admission Notice.
